We are proud to announce that Helical Fusion has been selected as a J-Startup company in the 5th round of this prestigious program run by Japan’s Ministry of Economy, Trade, and Industry (METI).
Among the 31 selected startups, Helical Fusion was recognized for its potential to pioneer the world’s first steady-state fusion reactor, thanks to recommendations from experienced VCs and corporate innovation leaders.
As a J-Startup, we will now receive focused support from both government agencies and private sector partners—unlocking new opportunities such as preferential treatment in support measures such as subsidies, and simplifying procedures.
We deeply appreciate the multiple recommendations that led to our selection and extend our gratitude to all our supporters. With this strong backing, we are more determined than ever to accelerate our mission toward realizing sustainable fusion energy.
